Why it matters here
Web design for one of Sydney's real industrial estates.
Ingleburn is best known locally for the shops and the station, but the businesses that employ the most people sit in the industrial estate off Williamson Road: fabrication, engineering, transport, food production, warehousing and the trades and suppliers that keep them going.
Those businesses get found in a very specific way. A procurement officer or a site supervisor searches a capability, a material or a machine, opens three tabs, and rings whichever one made it obvious they do that work. Brand recognition plays almost no part.
Our website design work here is built for that thirty second scan. Capability up front, tolerances and standards where a technical buyer expects them, and a number that never leaves the screen.
There is a second audience most Ingleburn sites forget. Alongside the trade buyer there is a local one, the homeowner or small business a few streets away who needs the same workshop for a much smaller job. Both can be served by one site, but only if the structure separates them instead of averaging them into vagueness.
The other thing that costs businesses out here is the recruitment side. In an estate this size, a careers page that actually describes the work and the shift pattern quietly does as much for the business as the services pages do, and almost nobody bothers with one.
