Why it matters here
Web design for Sydney's second CBD.
Parramatta is not a suburb that happens to have offices in it. It is a commercial centre with corporate tenants, a legal and finance cluster, the Westmead health precinct next door and a hospitality strip on Church Street that competes with anywhere in the city. The businesses here are bigger, better funded and often already on their second or third website.
Which is why most of the work we do in Parramatta is a website redesign rather than a first site. Something built five years ago that has stopped converting, loads slowly, does not hold up on a phone, or simply no longer looks like the business it represents.
A redesign is a different job to a new build. There are rankings to protect, URLs to preserve and content worth keeping. We audit what is working before touching anything, so the new site inherits the positions the old one earned instead of starting from zero.
That audit is the part most agencies skip, and it is where redesigns go wrong. Pages that quietly bring in enquiries get deleted. URLs change without redirects. A slow site gets replaced by a prettier one that is slower still. Any of those can cost you more traffic than the new design wins back.
So the order of work on a Parramatta redesign is deliberate. Establish what currently earns visits and enquiries, map every existing URL to its replacement, rebuild, then verify the rankings held before anyone celebrates. It is less exciting than a design reveal and it is why the numbers survive the process.
