Why it matters here
Web design for businesses on the Hawkesbury floodplain.
Richmond Lowlands is farmland. The Hawkesbury flats west of Richmond hold turf farms, market gardens, nurseries, poultry, equipment and the contracting businesses that service them, on some of the most productive alluvial soil near Sydney.
Businesses out here are not selling to passers by. They sell to wholesalers, landscapers, builders, other farms and the occasional retail customer who drives out deliberately, and each of those searches for something completely different.
Our website design work here starts from what those buyers actually type. One page per product or capability, written so a landscaper or a wholesaler can tell in ten seconds whether you supply what they need.
Flood is central here rather than incidental. The lowlands flood, and buyers know it, so a business that explains plainly how it manages supply continuity, timing and recovery is answering the biggest question a wholesale customer has.
The other gap across agricultural sites is documentation. A buyer comparing three suppliers picks the one whose site shows the grades, the varieties, the volumes and the delivery terms. The other two usually show a stock photograph and a phone number.
